With Sony having just announced February's free PlayStation Plus games, Xbox fans are anxiously awaiting their free Games with Gold titles for the month. Turns out, the wait isn't much longer as Microsoft has plans to reveal the month's two free games tomorrow.
"Tomorrow I’ll have a blog post up with the February Games With Gold titles," Microsoft frontman Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb said.
The relatively new Games with Gold program acts similar to PS Plus in that Xbox owners who are Xbox LIVE Gold members are treated to two free games per month. January's Games with Gold offered Sleeping Dogs and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, a notable improvement over 2013's offers and a good way to kick off the new year. Now the big question is can Microsoft follow up with an even more impressive slate of games? Microsoft Studio's boss Phil Spencer sure thinks so as he recently admitted he "feel[s] good about [the] first half of '14."
One thing's for sure, after looking at February's PS Plus games, Microsoft has its work cut out for it. Next month, Sony will be giving away a total of six games across its various PlayStation platforms — and they are all decent titles as well.
