IndieCade has named actress and gamer Felicia Day as host for 2012's Red Carpet Awards.
The popular figure has appeared on television in shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Eureka and stormed the web in "Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog," her own "The Guild," and even the web series "Dragon Age" (based on BioWare's franchise). She's most recently signed on as a producer on the “Geek and Sundry” premium YouTube channel. Day's cult stardom seems infinite in its possibilities.
“Felicia has great synergy with the innovative spirit of IndieCade,” said representative Stephanie Barish. “Her passion, creative vision and self-starting attitude embody the ethos of the indie community. Having her host will make our award ceremony extremely meaningful.”
The Red Carpet Awards take place on October 4. Tickets are on sale.
