FIFA 12 leads UK sales charts for 5th consecutive week

For the 5th consecutive week, EA's FIFA 12 has claimed the top spot in the UK sales charts.

According to GFK, FIFA 12 has become the highest grossing sports title ever and its five week top-spot run is second best to only FIFA World to the World Cup 98, which had a record 11 weeks in a row at the number one spot.

In other rankings, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Just Dance 3 swapped places, with Skyrim now in the number two spot.

Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 also swapped spots, with MW3 now fourth.  Saints Row: The Third had an impressive leap, landing in the top 10 after being 14th last week, as did Rayman Origins which finished in the 9th spot.
