FIFA 17 releases all new gameplay trailer to celebrate the start of a new season

Some of the world's biggest football leagues are getting their seasons underway, including the EPL, and to celebrate, EA Sports has released a brand new trailer for FIFA 17 showcasing new kits, transfers, celebrations, skill moves, newly-modeled players, and gameplay features that we can expect from the franchise's latest entry. 

In an official press release, the mega-developer detailed new additions to FIFA 17's Ultimate Team mode including Squad Building Challenges and FUT Champions. Here's what they said:

"Squad Building Challenges gives fans the opportunity to test their management skills on console or in the FUT 17 companion app, and earn in-game rewards by fulfilling squad requirements with players from their Club. 

FUT Champions is a new way for all fans to compete in daily knockout tournaments for in-game rewards and the chance to play in the Weekend League. Once fans make the Weekend League, they will compete to win matches and rank up for rewards. Each Weekend League performance counts, as combined wins help fans rank up the Monthly Leaderboard for the chance to earn the biggest in-game rewards in FUT. Reaching the top spots on the Leaderboard could result in an opportunity to compete in the EA SPORTS FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship Series – part of a new competitive gaming platform in FIFA 17 which gives eligible fans a chance to compete at the highest level and their share of a $1.3 million USD prize pool." 

FIFA 17 is bringing a lot of new things to the table this year, including an all-new story mode called "The Journey" where players will take the role of Alex Hunter, who will work his way up the ranks and build his legacy on the pitch.
