FIFA 18’s Opening Weekend Hit 1.6 Million Players

FIFA 18, the latest in EA's soccer giant, launched on September 29. EA has reported the first weekend had reached 1.6 million concurrent users across all platforms. Apparently, FIFA 18 was a huge hit.

We don't know how this compares with last year's FIFA 17, as these were the only numbers released by EA, but to quote the tweet they made about it, "That's a lot of people playing FIFA 18."

FIFA 18 is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. A newcomer to the line-up of FIFA-capable consoles is the Nintendo Switch, and it's safe to say it looks pretty darn good.

Are you playing the latest FIFA? On what console? Bonus question: Would you give it a try on the Switch?
