From now until April 18, customers can save 20% on the "epic fantasy role-playing adventurer" Avernum: Escape from the Pit. The game landed on Steam today and currently costs $7.99.
In Escape from the Pit, players are banished to the underworld, a subterranean nation called Avernum. There they can band together with their new countrymen and even rebel against the cruel surface-worlders. The game contains eighty dungeons and towns, hundreds of quests and side quests, and over 50 spells and battle disciplines, among other features.
Escape from the Pit is a "a ground-up rewrite" of Spiderweb Software's popular title, Avernum, which came out in 1999 and is in turn a rewrite of Exile: Escape From the Pit, which released in 1995.
