Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is over 1.5 million accounts strong

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn has made a real comeback since its original debut in 2010 as simply Final Fantasy 14. Famitsu reports that the massively multiplayer online role-playing game has over 1.5 million registered accounts worldwide.

"Registered accounts" doesn't necessarily equate to active users, though, but that's still a good number for a game that was in serious trouble a few years ago. A Realm Reborn was one of the top-10 sellers in the U.S. in August, according to the NPD Group.

The title has done fairly well in reviews since it's reintroduction in late August. We gave it a 9 out of 10.
