Final Fantasy 14 smartphone companion app available on iOS

The official smartphone companion app for Square Enix's MMORPG Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is now available for free for iOS devices.

The app is called Final Fantasy 14: Libra Eorzea, and it is a comprehensive database of the game, accessible offline. It also lets you view your character profile, complete with information on gear and attributes. There's more features planned for the future, as well.

If you own an Android device, don't worry; They're also developing an Android-based companion app.

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn launched worldwide on August 27 on the PlayStation 3 and PC. The launch was less-than-stellar, but now, the game runs beautifully.
