Final Fantasy 7 Remake Now Has a Voice Actor for Cloud

The Final Fantasy 7 remake announced in 2015 caused a huge fan reaction when the news broke. Many speculated on the type of gameplay, how it will look, and most importantly, what the character's voices would sound like. As it turns out, we now officially have a voice for Cloud Strife.

Steve Burton has confirmed on Twitter that he will be the voice of Cloud. Perhaps this isn't too shocking, as he's been the voice for him in the Advent Children, World of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. However, Cloud speaks much more in the original Final Fantasy 7 (albeit in text form) than he does in the previously mentioned titles.

No other actors have been confirmed, but we're anticipating some sort of announcement for E3 is June. So far, we know the game will feature a more action-based RPG combat system, but the game will still keep the heart of FF7 intact.
