The crossover that just wasn’t meant to be: Final Fantasy x Pokemon. Two of the longest-running and most successful JRPG franchises of all time on the same screen? It might just be too much for fans to handle. Luckily, artist Andrew Ryan took the risk and recast the characters of Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 10 as Pokemon trainers over at his DeviantART page (presumably after dooming Rapture in his role in BioShock), resulting in a hybrid packing enough nostalgia to give even Kingdom Hearts a run for its money.
