Final Fantasy Explorers lets you fight as legendary characters

When Final Fantasy Explorers lauches on the 3DS next week, it will entail a brand new trance system that lets you transform into legendary characters of the franchise. During battle, while in Trance Mode, players can harness the incredible power of legendary Final Fantasy characters and utilize their ultimate attacks. Clever use of the Trance system is one of the keys to defeating foes in the game.

A total of 11 characters including Tidus (best FF character ever by the way) will be available. You will need to complete quests provided by the town moogles in order to receiver a character magicite. Equipping these at the town crystal will let you transform into that character during battle.

Final Fantasy Explorers launches exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on January 26th. Take a look at the full infographic below
