If you know anything about the Final Fantasy franchise, you know that Square Enix is getting ready to release their sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2. With sales in Japan being significantly lower than its predecessor, it looks like Toys "R" Us wants to jumpstart sales in the U.S. by offering Final Fantasy XIII-2 for $45 if you pre-order.
There is currently no information if this is a temporary deal, but Toys "R" Us is offering Final Fantasy XIII-2 for $44.99 on both consoles, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Of course, Toys "R" Us is known for its pre-order deals, but to cut the price by $15 isn't something the retailer normally does.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is a role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix and will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on January 31, 2012.
