That’s right, as of today, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is officially live today. With this, Square Enix has released a launch trailer. As any MMO, there is a story and this trailer emphasizes this aspect of the game.
FF14 does an excellent job tying in aspects from the numerous Final Fantasy games. From what I’ve played and what this trailer shows homage to the original Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy VI with crystals of light and Magitek technology.
