Final Fantasy XV got an all-new demo today…in Japan

It turns out that Square Enix held another Active Time Report yesterday, and the biggest news to come out of it is that the game would be getting an all demo that would release today on both PS4 and Xbox One. The problem is, it's only in Japan. Yeah…I'm disappointed too.

Titled Judgement Disk, the demo features the opening sequence of the game as well as half of the first chapter, totally somewhere between an hour to an hour and a half of gameplay. For those who are lucky enough to live over in Japan, you should know that you won't be able save or carry over any progress made in the demo. The demo will also only feature the game's Easy Difficulty.

Final Fantasy XV is on track to release November 29th after going gold about two weeks ago. The game will have a $25 Season Pass, but there may be DLC to come in the future that won't be covered by the pass, potentially featuring the game's female characters.
