Final Fantasy XV's troubled development over the last ten years is no secret unless you are one of those fans living in sweet denial. As we get closer to the game's new November release date, concerns still linger over how the game will perform from a technical perspective. Episode Duscae suffered from pretty severe FPS drops, and one of the primary reasons cited for this latest delay was optimization.
That said, if you are a Final Fantasy fan looking to upgrade to the PS4 Pro, this video (albeit recorded off-screen), has to bring some sense of relief. The extra hardware power that the Pro will bring looks like it will be giving Final Fantasy XV a huge boost simply from a framerate perspective. The Pro also gives Final Fantasy XV a boost in texture quality and foliage density, so combined with the framerate increase, it's giving this Final Fantasy fan reason to look harder at upgrading.
Final Fantasy XV was delayed from its September 30th release date, and will now hit store shelves on November 29th, 2016 (assuming all goes according to the new plan). The game will also release with a Season Pass, but Square Enix also has plans for additional DLC that will need to be purchased separately.
