The first phase of the Final Fantasy XV multiplayer Beta ends tomorrow when it goes on a three-day hiatus before picking back up on the 11th. If you plan on partaking in Wave 2, make sure you have the game downloaded by tomorrow, August 8th, or you won't be able to play as reported by Gamespot.
With the issues that have popped up in the first phase of the multiplayer Beta (prompting the second session in the first place), it's not the greatest of signs to see such an odd limitation suddenly pop up just days before it's scheduled to go live. That said, with all that Final Fantasy XV has struggled through over the last ten years, this just feels like such a small thing to add to its laundry list of things not quite normal.
In order to access the second Beta, you will still have the same set of requirements from the first. You must own the Final Fantasy XV base game, its Season Pass, and have a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold Subscription.
Final Fantasy XV is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
