Final Fantasy XV site source code suggests PC release

On March 30th, Square Enix will be getting on stage to reveal details on Final Fantasy XV during an event that has been called 'Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV.' This event will likely mark the reveal of the game's official release date, but it appears as though we can look forward to something else.

The 'Uncovered' event page on the Final Fantasy XV suggests that the game will be making a PC release alongside its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release.

NeoGaf user KupoNut took a look at the Java Script for the event's page and found a link to a Steam Store page, as well as a Windows 10 page to purchase a PC version of the game. Both PC listing were found next to the links to purchase the Xbox One and PS4 version of the game.

In addition to KupoNut's PC findings, it was noted that a "trailer, schedule, FAQ, Livestream, What/About and Travel page" will eventually be added to the page.

As with most things, we suggest to take the suggestion of a PC release with a grain of salt until Square Enix confirms it themselves. Prior to Fallout 4's reveal, the site's source code pointed to an Xbox 360 and PS3 release of the game, but the game was revealed to be releasing on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The source code was simply placeholder text.
