Final Fantasy XV themed soda coming to a Target store near you

First we got the Nuka Cola, now we’re getting the Energizing Elixir.

Square Enix announced today it is partnering with Target and Jones Soda to release a specially branded Final Fantasy XV themed soda called “Wiz’s Energizing Elixir.”

The drink goes on sale November 29, 2016 in conjunction with the game’s release. It’s an orange and cream soda-flavored beverage based on the in-game location called “Wiz Chocobo Post.” It will retail exclusively at participating Target stores for $3, or you can grab a bottle for free if you purchase Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One or PS4.

Target has a history of participating in video game themed soda beverage promotions. Last year, they partnered with Bethesda and Jones Soda to release the Fallout 4 branded Nuka Cola Quantum.

There’s a lot of excitement for Final Fantasy XV ahead of the game’s launch. So far, early reviews of the game are mostly positive, but keep in mind it reportedly plays worse on PS4 Pro compared to the regular PS4.
