Final Fantasy XV version 1.03; Gets New Game+ and Bug Fixes

Final Fantasy XV recently had a DLC announced that will have players facing a familiar foe. But this new update adds more things under the hood than just story.

Now released, the update features a few things from the Holiday Pack due out on December 22, but also a New Game+ mode, allowing players to carry over their data from previous playthroughs. It also contains content such as a new photo frame feature, allowing players to choose different themed frames for Promto's pictures.

Starting New Game+ overwrites your original save, so make sure that's what you want to do before diving in. It carries over items, costumes, weapons, levels and ascension skills. The Engine Blade, however, will revert to its original state.

Oddly enough, New Game+ does not add more difficulty. The patch is around 3.2GB to include the bonus content and Holiday Pack freebees.
