Final Nintendo Power cover goes full circle

The cover art for the final edition of Nintendo Power has been made public, cementing the realization that this will be the last we see of the popular magazine. The final issue of Nintendo Power, which has been in publication for 24 years, is set to hit shelves on December 11, but you can get a sneak peek thanks to Twitter user @mudron.

If the cover looks familiar, that's because it seems to be a tribute to the first issue of the long-standing publication. It seems quite fitting that the magazine has gone full circle, ending where it all began. Although the graphics may be updated from the iconic clay cover, the fun and joy found in Super Mario is as present today as it was in the '80s.

Best of luck to all of those who had a role in Nintendo Power.
