Fire Emblem: Awakening due out 2013

Fire Emblem: Awakening, a strategy role-playing game for Nintendo 3DS, will be coming to North America sometime in 2013.

Released in JapanĀ  this past April, Nintendo announced that Fire Emblem: Awakening will make full use of the 3DS's handheld wireless feature to provide paid DLC. StreetPass and SpotPass functions will allow for interaction between players and access to new downloadable content. StreetPass will also be used to collect your friends' characters, allowing them to join your army's ranks.

Nintendo also announced a ton of other 3DS news last night during their broadcast, most notably the arrival of the 3DS XL, a larger version of the current 3DS with bigger screens and a better battery life.
