Fire Emblem Fates getting extravagant soundtrack/DVD release

A lavish soundtrack and DVD bundle for Fire Emblem Fates will release in Japan on April 27.

As a NeoGAF user pointed out, the 6800 Yen (roughly $58) bundle includes a 134-track soundtrack spread across even discs. Together with the included DVD, the song list spans multiple variants of character performances, chief among them Aqua’s turn in the spotlight.

The DVD itself is dedicated to in-game cutscenes such as openings and character highlights. Additionally, two decorative pins and a 24-page art book will be included, all wrapped up in a striking Aqua-themed sleeve.

A North American or European release of the bundle has not yet been confirmed, but remains a possibility given the popularity of Fire Emblem Fates in the West. Fates quickly became the fastest-selling Fire Emblem in the U.S, despite numerous localization pitfalls.

In the meantime, the Japanese version can be imported via sites like CDJapan, provided you’re willing to pay the $20-odd shipping.
