Sony today revealed the most-downloaded PlayStation Store titles for February 2016, showing a few dark horses on some platforms.
Developer Campo Santo’s Firewatch, an ethereal narrative (pictured above), topped PS4 downloads, followed by the well-received Far Cry Primal and the ever-popular Rocket League. Funnily enough, Rocket League will soon branch out from the digital space with retail copies.
PS3 downloads were far stranger, with Need for Speed Most Wanted, Minecraft: PS3 Edition and Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel topping the list. Mainstays such as Dark Souls 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5 were further down the list.
Less shocking is Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s total dominance of PS3 and PS4 add-on downloads, though obviously the Fallout 4 season pass is still very much in the running. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth’s top spot on Vita downloads is none too surprising either.
Remember, a game’s rank is determined by number of downloads, not revenue earned. You can find the full list of top-sellers over on the PlayStation Blog.
