Firewatch gets release date on PS4, PC

In early March of last year, a new San Francisco-based studio named Campo Santo revealed their first game – Firewatch. The game has been described as a first person exploration game that takes place in the Wyoming Wilderness, with your only communication is to a female colleague through a walkie talkie radio.

According to Campo Santo, Firewatch will release on February 9th, 2016 on the PS4 and PC. The game has you playing as a man named Henry in the Wyoming forest during fire season, where must solve mysteries using both your expertise in exploring, as well as the guidance from your colleague on the radio. Firewatch is pretty much finished, but will need to wait until February due to some last minute “tweaking, tuning, bug fixing and polishing”.

We haven't seen much more than the initial trailer for Firewatch with the most recent being from this year's E3, but what we have seen looks pretty promising. We reached out to Campo Santo for more information and will let you know what hear.
