Firmware update 3.10 brings new features to PS4 today

Less than a month ago, Sony released a software update for the PlayStation 4 that brought a number of new features like YouTube Live, an increase in online storage, Favorite Groups, and more. Today, the PS4 will be receiving yet another update, firmware v3.10.

The full update details have yet to be revealed, but Sony has offered some details on the update through social media. Taking to Twitter, the official PlayStation Europe account revealed "System software update 3.10 goes live on PS4 today. Follow official accounts, customise your messages with brand new sticker & more!" That's right, you heard it here! The update is bringing stickers, try to conceal your joy.

The North American Twitter account offered separate details, saying, "PS4 v3.10 goes live today, enabling you to follow verified accounts of your favorite game studios / devs." Turn on your PS4 and grab the update now!

So, the main features of the update are:

  • You can now follow verified accounts of game studios and developers in Profile, What's New, and (Friends). When you follow the accounts, you can keep track of their activities in What's New.
  • New stickers have been added to(Messages).
