First Batman: Arkham Knight trailer is a message from Father to Son

While we still await concrete details on Rocksteady's latest Batman game, Arkham Knight, we do have this almost 4 minute trailer to tide us over.

The trailer doesn't showcase any gameplay, but it does show Batman being Batman, but this time with the Batmobile, which will be drive-able in Arkham Knight, and be part of the game's core gameplay mechanics.

The trailer is also narrated by Thomas Wayne, Bruce's father. "Don't be frivolous with this wealth. Please do not waste it all on fast cars, outrageous clothes and the pursuit of a destructive lifestyle." Ironically, Bruce does invest in all of those things, but of course for the greater good of Gotham, a wish his father had for his son.

Batman: Arkham Knight is set to come out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014.
