First Deadpool trailer officially released

Last month, we got our first unofficial look at 20th Century Fox's Deadpool movie, courtesy of leaked footage out of San Diego Comic-Con.

Today, 20th Century Fox released that same trailer in good ol' HD. And damn, it's amazing what some better quality does. While initially skeptical when I first watched the leaked trailer, I've done a complete 180 since watching it in high quality. Now I can't wait to see the Merc with a Mouth on the big screen come February 12, 2016.

For those unfamiliar with Marvel's most unconventional anti-hero, here's an official description of the movie:

"Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life."

Deadpool was quite a hit at SDCC and now you know why. It's a much different tone than we're used to seeing from a Marvel character — a much more vulgar, dark, and twisted style of humor.
