The Danish Film Institute's website hints at Playdead's next game, currently dubbed "Project 2."
DFI is contributing funds to the game, which "tells the story of a boy's struggle against evil forces trying to take over the world through questionable experiments on human bodies."
The listing pegs it as a puzzle-platformer/adventure title for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac. It's slated for release in 2014.
Last year Playdead CEO Dino Patti called Project 2 "similar in many ways [to Limbo], but so different" and "more weird." In response, Danish newspaper Politiken called the game "a bleak spiritual successor to the award-winning Limbo."
