Pokemon Sun and Moon have been a huge success since release. People picked it up day one and plowed through the richer-than-usual story and some have already beaten the game. Allegedly, someone even beat the game with a lone Magikarp! But unlike Pokemon games of the past, Pokemon Sun and Moon are children of the 21st century.
In comes global missions. Global missions are achievements that must be met between a certain time by all players connected to the internet. According to serebii, the first global mission was announced and started today til December 12. This mission for all players is to catch 100 million Pokemon.
A much more achievable mission with a large team, but even then, the odds are stacked high. That's why the world of Pokemon players needs help! To take part in this global mission, players must go through the Pokemon Global Link. The rewards are Festival Coins which can be spent in game.
The challenge ends at 11:59 on December 12, so make sure to connect to the Pokemon Global Link at the Festival Plaza to participate!
