While we had a nice, long look at Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag at PAX East this past weekend, Ubisoft has just released a new gameplay trailer, giving everyone else a glimpse at the intense naval action and Caribbean exploration that awaits when the game releases on October 29.
As it was previously explained to us, Assassin's Creed 4 is set in the exotic world of The West Indies in 1715, the Golden Age of Pirates. In the game, you play as Captain Edward Kenway, a pirate trained by Assassins.
Today's trailer gives us a look at just how lethal and brutal Kenway actually is. It also provides a look at some of the game's settings: from Havana to Kingston to uncharted islands fill with mystery. Judging by the trailer, gameplay appears to be just as smooth and fluid as its predecessors. And there certainly seems like there is plenty to do and explore — fighting with sharks!?
