Bungie has announced plans to host a livestream tomorrow that will offer viewers a glimpse at Destiny's next expansion, House of Wolves.
Specifically the livestream will take viewers on a tour through the brand new social space, The Reef, while Bungie discusses the new content and vendors (and more) that will be found there. The livestream will begin at 11:00am Pacific on Wednesday, April 22, and will feature Deej (Bungie Community Manager), Christopher Barrett (Bungie Creative Director), and community member Gothalion.
Officially revealed last week, House of Wolves appears to expand upon the story of the Queen of the Reef and the Fallen that protect her as a result of her defeating the Kell. Bungie teases, "Only the bravest Guardians will hunt down the rising Fallen threat and lay claim to the mysterious treasures of The Reef."
While Bungie has plans to reveal each specific piece of new content coming with House of Wolves on a week-by-week basis, we already know the expansion will introduce new story missions, three new competitive multiplayer maps, and a new cooperative Strike. In place of a Raid comes a new arena activity called The Prison of Elders. For those too impatient to wait for Bungie's reveal, details for the new content were leaked last week.
House of Wolves will be available on May 19th. It's the second of two planned expansions for Destiny and is included as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass, which is priced at $34.99. Alternatively, the expansion can be purchased individually for $19.99. Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below, released in December of last year.
