First look at Destiny’s Trials of Osiris coming tomorrow

Continuing to give us a look at Destiny's new expansion, House of Wolves, Bungie has announced plans for a livestream tomorrow that will detail the brand new, weekly competitive multiplayer event called Trials of Osiris.

Bungie teased tomorrow's livestream with a very brief trailer (above), giving us a glimpse at the 3v3 elimination event "where power levels matter." According to Bungie, the more wins your team accumulates, the greater your rewards, which include Osiris-themed, endgame gear. I'm sure more details will be shared tomorrow.

The livestream will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 29th at 11:00am Pacific (2:00pm Eastern), and will feature Bungie Community Manager Deej, Design Leads Lars Bakken and Derek Carroll, and community member tripleWRECK.

Last week, Bungie showed off Destiny's new social hub, the Reef, which will arrive with House of Wolves. And from that livestream we learned much more about the upcoming expansion and all of the changes it'll bring.

While Bungie has plans to reveal each specific piece of new content coming with House of Wolves on a week-by-week basis, we already know the expansion will introduce new story missions, three new competitive multiplayer maps, and a new cooperative Strike. In place of a Raid comes a new arena activity called The Prison of Elders, which has yet to be detailed.

House of Wolves will be available on May 19th. It's the second of two planned expansions for Destiny and is included as part of the Destiny Expansion Pass, which is priced at $34.99. Alternatively, the expansion can be purchased individually for $19.99. Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below, released in December of last year.
