With the promise to implement new controls and AI that'll improve the passing game with Madden NFL 16, Electronic Arts has published the first batch of screenshots from this year's installment. As expected, the screenshots highlight your ability to "be the playmaker" in Madden 16, utilizing "all-new playmaking tools that highlight the battle for air supremacy."
With all the changes the NFL has made to create a more offensive-friendly, pass-heavy league, it's no surprise EA is following suit with Madden.
The new screenshots showcase many of EA's promises, including new wide receiver/defensive back interactions, the ability to place the ball where only youre receiver can get it with body-relative throws (high-point, low-point, back-shoulder, and touch pass), and "the most authentic" exchanges to date with a variety of new two-man interactions.
There's also an improved time of day and lighting that will help Madden NFL 16's updated player liknesses, as well as new player spotlights, dynamic goals and achievements, and innovative on-the-field-cameras that will bring you closer to the game "than ever before."
Madden NFl 16 is set to release on August 25.
