Raiding has officially become a part of the latest expansion in World of Warcraft…let the hours of guild progression begin in Warlords of Draenor!
The first raid to hit Warlords of Draenor, Highmaul, will have seven bosses (3 of which are optional) and will give players access to the first half of Tier 17 armor (non-Tier gear will be around 640 – 685)! You will find the entrance nestled in the land of Nagrand, the raid itself will have an open layout. If you want to even step into the Looking for Group version of the raid, make sure your item level is at least 615.
This dungeon is filled with ogres, as it should be, considering it's a city for ogres. Let's take a look at the bosses you'll be encountering:
Kargath Bladefist
It's possible that Kargath was part of a heavy metal band before becoming a Warlord of the Shattered Hand. He's got tons of blood under his nails, but only because he was fighting for freedom. Ultimately, when he wasn't awarded his freedom he sawed off his hand and led a rovolt against the ogres. He will be waiting for you in the arena…
The Butcher (Optional Boss)
Don't let his goofy smile fool yo, The Butcher, is crazy. No one wants to be near him when he's at work hacking away at caracasses.
Tectus (Optional Boss)
Tectus is part of what created Draenor. He is powerful, uses the force of nature and barely held back by the maddened Pale Orcs.
Brackenspore (Optional Boss)
This guy, he kind of looks familiar, like maybe he was in a dungeon near Zangar Marsh. Whatever. Brackenspore, is an optional fungal beast. All he wants to do is spread his fungus and moss to eradicate everyone in Draenor – he's basically the biggest tree hugger ever.
Twin Ogron
Pol and Phemos, the like to gaurd doors. They gaurd the entrance to Gorthenon and personally guard Imperator Mar'gok — the guy that you'll be fighting at the end of this raid.
Ko’ragh
Ko'ragh was directly exposed to a mysterious relic that made him almost immune to all magic. The relic typically kills everyone that goes near it, you could say Kor'agh lucked out – unfortunately for us it wasn't his kryptonite, so, we still have to fight him.
Ko’ragh was the only ogre to survive direct exposure to a mysterious relic unearthed by the Highmaul excavations of Nagrand, leaving him with a near-complete immunity to all magic. Rumors abound regarding his connection to the Imperator, with some wondering why Ko’ragh would remain subservient to a sorcerer despite his unique gifts.
Imperator Mar’gok
Two heads means bigger hitbox, right? Hopefully. Mar'gok is the Imperator of Highmaul and descends from a long line of sorcerers. So, he's probably a little power hungry.
Here's the raid unlock schedule for the month:

Highmaul opens with Normal and Heroic difficulties accessible.
December 9, 2014
