Towards the end of September, Microsoft revealed the upcoming free games for Xbox owners that subscribe to Xbox LIVE Gold. Luckily, once you download any Games with Gold titles, you keep them in your game library regardless if your subscription lapses.
Xbox One owners can grab Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings as this month's first free game and Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China from last months set of games. Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings brings 1 – 4 player local and online coop and some pretty fun gameplay to the Xbox One.
The Xbox 360 game, I am Alive, is available on the Xbox One through backward compatibility.
