The teaser trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to 2015's erotic romance Fifty Shades of Grey (based on the book of the same name), was to be made available exclusively on the upcoming release of Fifty Shades of Grey on Digital HD and Blu-ray. Of course, it leaked. Because planning things like that are dumb (I'm looking at you Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice).
Point being, the teaser for Fifty Shades Darker made its way to the internet before it was scheduled. And now, you can get your first look at what Universal Pictures chariman Donna Langley is calling "more of a thriller" than the previous film.
I've never read the books, but I hear the novels take more of this thriller approach anyway.
Fifty Shades Darker is set to hit theaters on February 10, 2017, followed by the third film in the trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, on February 9, 2018.
