Similar to Suicide Squad, most of what we've seen of the Deadpool film has been through carefully selected teasers and leaked photos from the set. And like Warner Bros.' handling of the first Suicide Squad trailer from San Diego Comic-Con, 20th Century Fox also chose not yet to release the trailer for Deadpool online to the public.
Thankfully, someone in attedance at yesterday's panel recorded it for us. It's not the best quality, but it's the first we get to see of Ryan Reynolds as Marvel's most unconventional anti-hero.
Like I said, not the best quality, but it does the job. It's a much different tone than we're used to seeing from a Marvel character — a much more vulgar, dark and twisted style of humor. And, Ryan Reynolds seems to nail the character of Deadpool, the alter ego of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson after he undergoes a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers and other special abilities.
Juding by the fan reaction, it looks like the new Deadpool movie will be quite a hit. I know it's not the best quality, but what do you think of the new trailer?
