The Five Nights of Freddy franchise have been going on for a while now, we had multiple games, McFarlane toy figures, and a movie adaptation of the indie game, but it seems like people want more.

Yesterday, a fan asked on the game's official Steam page if we would ever see Five Nights of Freddy come to consoles as it "would suit a console very well", here's what the sole developer of the series replied with:

Actually, yes! It will happen. I'm talking with a few companies who are interested in doing console remakes of the original games. 🙂

The Five Night's at Freddy's train shows no sign of stopping. And why would it? Scott Cawthon, the series' lone developer has updated his official website with a teaser featuring the words "Sister Location" as well as the game's title, which not-so-subtly points to a fifth game in the works.

Five Nights at Freddy's has been something of a cult hit in the indie gaming scene, both for its unique premise and cheap price of admission. The original game put you in the role of a security guard of a small pizza joint, where the goal was to survive against a small horde of murderous animatronic creatures.
