Fix for Bloodborne’s Lunarium Key bug in the works

Chances are if you're a huge Souls fan, you're hard at work slaying beasts and generally trying to survive the horrors of Yharnam. However, some players are suffering a game breaking bug where they're unable to obtain the Lunarium Key, a necessary item to progress through the Byrgenwerth area in order to fight that area's boss.

This bug doesn't happen for everyone though, and there is a specific criteria a player has to fulfil in order to trigger it.

The Lunarium Key won't be in the game if a player uses the Small Resonant Bell or the Sinister Resonant Bell in the Forbidden Woods area. What that means is if the player either tries to help another player in the Forbidden Woods, or tries to engage in PvP in that area, it will bug the item. So make sure you resist using either of those items in the Forbidden Woods.

Unfortunately, those who have already been plagued by the bug have to wait for a hotfix which is currently being finalized and prepared for deployment. The ETA on that seems to be next week. So unfortunately you're either stuck waiting until that time, or you could create a new character in the meantime.

It sucks for those afflicted, but at least the FROM team is hard at work trying to fix it as soon as possible.
