Fix for Destiny update 1.2.0 underway

Bungie confirms they've identified the problem with Destiny's pre-House of Wolves update

The technical issue that caused the delay of Destiny update 1.2.0 has been identified and Bungie is now working on a fix, community manager David 'DeeJ' Dague confirmed today.

In the daily update, Dague wrote, "Solutions for technical issues that have delayed the delivery of updates have been identified. Work is ongoing and we'll release the new content and the Patch Notes as soon as we can. Stand by for more information on timing."

Update 1.2.0, the first of two planned updates scheduled to arrive before the House of Wolves expansion releases, was supposed to roll out on Tuesday, but was delayed last minute when a late-breaking technical issue was discovered

Update 1.2.1's release was supposed to coincide with the launch of House of Wolves, but it's unclear how the delay of 1.2.0 might affect the deployment schedule. Bungie promises to share more information as soon as they have something official.

Patch notes for both update 1.2.0 and 1.2.0.1 will be made available around the time they are rolled out. Until then, all we know is that they prepare us for the arrival of House of Wolves, which is coming on Tuesday, May 19th.
