Stop me if you've heard this one before. A PC port doesn't appear to work right at launch. *Ba dum tish* (I'll be here all week, folks). The attack of the dreaded PC port has struck once again, and this time, it's BioShock 1 + 2 Remastered. Neither game is doing particularly well on the Steam User Review, spectrum with the original game currently sitting at a 42% positive rating while the second games lags (yes, lags) behind at 39%.
That's not good for a series that has come to be considered one of the most revered in recent memory, so it stands to reason that 2K should probably do something to fix it. Fortunately, they seem to be doing just that, according to a post in the original BioShock's Steam Announcements page.
Here's what they said:
There's no denying that the BioShock Remasters are clear visual upgrades (just check out this comparison video), but it's still disappointing when it fails to run as well as the original game fresh on release.
