Some leaked footage has appeared online for a cancelled Star Wars mobile strategy game. It's a Clash of Clans type strategy game with all of the aspects involved from the Star Wars universe. Luke takes out storm troopers with his light saber and force maneuvers while X-wings fly over head and AT-ST's walk around the battlefield. EA has said in the past that they were working on mobile strategy games, including one that may have released in its place with Galaxy of Heroes. It's available now on both Ios and Android and may have been what EA decided to go through with instead.
We know there are 10 years of Star Wars games coming thanks to a new contract between EA and Disney. Just this last week EA announced that Battlefront will be getting a sequel in 2017 and Visceral's Star Wars title will launch in 2018. What we have left is up to anyone's imagination, but we do know that both Respawn and Bioware are working on third person, action-adventure titles.
