Former members of Irrational Games and Harmonix creating Dreadline

Former members of Irrational Games (BioShock) and Harmonix (Rock Band) have started a new company and are working on their first project, Dreadline.

Boston-based studio Eerie Canal is developing the RPG/RTS hybrid. Players will command a host of monsters in control of a time machine and travel through the ages to kill those who are already fated to die. The scenes of slated tragedies include the Titanic and Pompeii.

Dreadline is a self-described mix between Diablo and Freedom Force. It's slated for a PC release early next year.
