Forza Horizon 2 is nearing the finish line as Microsoft announced today that the Xbox 360 and Xbox One racing game has gone gold. This means development is finished, and the game is headed to factories for mass production.
Microsoft announced the achievement today via a Vine video featuring professional racer Tanner Foust driving Forza Horizon 2's signature Lamborghini Huracan and peeling out as he announces the game had gone gold.
For those of you who just can't wait until the end of the month, a demo for the game is hitting Xbox One today. According to Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, a demo is still on the way to the Xbox One store, but you can grab it now by opening smart glass and searching for the demo.
The brief demo will allow you to "explore the beauty" of southern Europe with a handful of "the world's most amazing cars," giving you a taste of what to expect when Forza Horizon 2 launches on Xbox One on September 30.
