Microsoft introduced Forza Horizon at their E3 press conference.
The new open-world game takes players to the country and city roads of Colorado, where they can compete in racing festivals. Live music, crowds, and autoshows complete the atmosphere, while racers experience features such as nighttime competition and divergent paths.
Players can, for example, destroy environmental objects such as signs and fences to boost their style score. The game will reward similar feats of havoc.
Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios are developing the game for release on October 23. It's planned for Xbox 360.
