Forza Motorsport 6 will include a mod system for the first time in the series' history.
Creative Director Bill Geise spoke in a recent interview about the addition, which will add a customizable difficulty setting to the game. One example provided is starting at the back of the pole position with no rewinds so winning will require perfection. Of course, the rewards will be increased for completing the race on this higher difficulty setting.
The mods will not be altering the authenticity that Turn 10 is hoping to attain with Forza 6 either. According to Geise, the development team vistied the real life locations of the game's races in order to see where rain would puddle as well as how cars handled during both day and night with the change in temperature.
Does this type of mod system excite you for Forza 6 or not? Let us know.
Forza Motorsport 6 releases September 15th on Xbox One.
