Forza Motorsport 7 might take 100GB of space on your Xbox One at launch

The Microsoft E3 2017 presentation showed off plenty of Forza Motorsport 7, how it will feature the largest collection of Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini cars ever seen on a racing game (according to the presenter) and more.

One thing the presentation didn't reveal for Forza Motorsport 7, is that the game will be huge. Not in the sense that we will be seeing an expansive world, but in the sense that it will take up a good deal of space on your Xbox One's HDD.

According to the game's store page (via MS Power User) the game will require approximately 100GB of HDD space at launch. Since this was reported, the 'Approximate Size' detail has been removed from the store page, however, an image of the detail exists.

It's unclear if the 100GB is the cost of running a game at 4K/60FPS on the Xbox One X or if it was a mistake on Microsoft's part.

At the moment, the unreleased Forza Motorsport 7 file size is eclipsed by Gears of War 4 with all of its updates. Forza Motorsport 7 is due to release on October 3rd.
