Konami has finally gotten around to releasing all known DLC for Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. On top of the previously released new stage and two music packs, Yoko, Julius, Maria, and Richter are all available to download for 240 MSP each.
Unfortunately, fans of the game are not taking kindly to the “too little, too late, and waaay too expensive” DLC practices of Konami, as you can see on Castlevania HD’s official Facebook page.
Yes, $3 a pop is a bit much considering the original game came with five characters and six stages, but that’s the other issue. Even with the seventh stage, Castlevania is an extremely short game and anyone with a maxed out Soma and Charlotte (like me) has already played most of the levels at least a hundred times each already. I’d be interested to fire up one of the new characters, but not if I’m just going to play the same game I already have been for 40+ hours.
