Raise your hand if you've ever used a crumpet to kill something in a game? Not even a video game, just a game in general. Maybe one or two crazed D&D players, but that's about it. Well, a new co-op shooter called Monsters and Monocles is going to let you do just that (and more, of course).
Monsters and Monocles pitches itself as a "frantic, Victorian steampunk themed twin-stick shooter all about using teamwork and heavy weaponry to battle the hordes of evil." In other words, don't worry about finding some emotionally sweeping narrative (unless you are sad about wasting those crumpets you can't eat), just buckle up with a few of your close friends and shoot stuff.
You can play the game both locally or online (or by yourself if you so choose) as you fight your way through unique procedurally generated environments while acquiring customizable weapons that you can outfit to match whatever playstyle you want.
