Freddy Fazbear is back with Five Nights at Freddy’s World

While Five Nights at Freddy's came to its conclusion in the recently released Five Nights at Freddy's 4, the series is far from dead. There's a film adaptation on the way and a brand new spin-off role-playing game called Five Nights at Freddy's World.

Developer Scott Cawthon clearly stated that Five Nights at Freddy's World is not a continuation of the game series while announcing the spin-off on Steam. In fact, Cawthon has no intentions of adding on to the original series of Freddy games, "It's very important for me to say again that there will NOT be a Five Nights at Freddy's 5. The story is complete."

Five Nights at Freddy's World will not be a horror game like the other games are, it will be a role-playing game and will feature characters from the previous Five Nights at Freddy's games. It's unlikely that the game will have a demo before Halloween, but when the demo is available – it will be free.

I'm not sure how those terrifying and murderous animatronic animals could ever be anything but horror… but we will see.
